MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Competing against 13 programs from NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, East Texas Baptist University came in 11^th place with 335 points. Noah Zarate was the top runner coming in 41^st place. ETBU faced NCAA Division I Arkansas State and Memphis, NCAA Division II Union University, Mississippi College, Wisconsin Lutheran, and Christian Brothers, and NCAA Division III programs Rhodes, Ozarks, Millsaps, Belhaven, and the Mississippi University for Women. The top five ETBU runners acheived a season or personal best in the meet.
 
Zarate ran a 27:09.59 in the 8K and was just 13 seconds off the top 30 as seven seconds decided places 34 through 41. Jagger Stutchman came in the top 100 in 82^nd with a time of 29:18. 12.
 
ETBU will run in the Chili Pepper Festival on October 4 in Arkansas.
