TYLER, Texas – Starting the 2025 season at the Texas Tyler Invite, East Texas Baptist University finished eighth of 10 programs running against NCAA Division II competition. Phoebe Dunham was the top runner, finishing in the top 30.
 
Dunham came in 26^th with a 20:45.25 time and was less than 10 seconds off the top 20 runners. Hannah Christiansen finished 41^st at 22:15.42 to round out the top 50. Hannah Willis was 51^st at 23:00.34, as Mallory Frederick was 54th (23:35.63), Evangeline Wilson was 59th (24:08.46), and Sophie Gaddy was 67^th (25:04.42). Ruquayya Soudine was then 71^st (25:31.15), Megan Smith was 72^nd (25:37.15), and Izabella Ball was 77^th (27:02.98).
 
ETBU will participate next Friday, September 12, at the Harding University Invite in Arkansas.
