MARSHALL, Texas — Defense controlled the match as East Texas Baptist University and Southwestern University battled to a 0-0 draw on Sunday afternoon at Cornish Field in women's soccer. ETBU is now 1-1-2 on the year.

The Tigers had their best chance in the 79th minute on a shot from Mallory Duncan, which was their lone attempt of the match.
Goalkeeper Cadence Tischler recorded three saves to preserve the shutout for ETBU.

ETBU is back in action on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. when they travel to Kerrville,Texas, to face Schreiner University.
