MARSHALL, Texas – Seven student-athletes from the East Texas Baptist University football program have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District list. This is the most student-athletes named to the All-District list for the football program.
 
Making the CSC Academic All-District team are Pedro Cavazos (Jr., Needville, Texas), Jeffrey Ohakawa (Sr., Houston, Texas), Bryson Ortega-Duplechain (So., Victoria, Texas), Jarron Roden (So., Kirbyville, Texas), Mason Stancliff (So., Burleson, Texas), Neiman Sullen (Sr., Lake Charles, La.), and Whitten Weems (So., Crawford, Texas).
 
To be eligible, the student-athlete needs a 3.5 grade point average and play in a set amount (percentage) of games. ETBU had the second-most student-athletes on the list for the American Southwest Conference.
