Tuesday's recap from the ETBU Cross Country and Track & Field TAME trip to Belize is provided by Sophie Gaddy.
 
"On Tuesday, we traveled to a local pre-school and were able to interact with a group of children by making crafts, playing games, and praying with the kids.  This opportunity allowed us to bond with the students, as we were able to spend a couple of hours interacting with them throughout the day.
 
In the afternoon, we hosted a youth track camp with a small group, which allowed us to have one-on-one interactions with the children.  We were able to connect through our sport and our God given talents.  We were also able to exchange different skill sets and have fun while doing it.  We ran relays, warmed up as a group, had one-on-one time, and raced with the kids. 
 
That night we had an open mic worship where we sang and shared testimonies with each other alongside kids from the Belmopan community. I personally was able to see how God works through people and how His voice can carry through the people we meet.  We are not that different and have a lot of similar stories.  That was cool to see as we shared different stories from our lives and cultures as we were all united through a common belief and love for God, which was inspiring," Gaddy said.
