MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Headed to Tennessee for the first complete outdoor meet in 2026, East Texas Baptist University competed at the Rhodes College Invite in Memphis, Tenn. ETBU had eight top five finishes against NCAA Division I, II, and III programs.
 
Jordyn Ramirez had the best finish of the day coming in second place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:00.14 out of nine participants. Lindsey Gooch was third in the 400 meter hurdles and was then fourth of 18 in the 800 meter run (2:26.87). Sophie Gaddy was then fourth in the 3000 meter steeple chase. Skyler Skinner threw  the discus 123'10" for fifth place out of 23 throwers. Ache' Anderson was then fifth in the 400 meter dash (1:02.87) out of nine runners. The 4x100 meter relay came in third while the 4x800 meter relay was second to finish out the top 5 finishes.
 
ETBU will be at Stephen F. Austin on April 2-3.
