ROUND ROCK, Texas – Shooting two of their best rounds of the year playing at the Linda Lowery Invite, East Texas Baptist University finished in third place at the Teravista Golf Club Course hosted by Concordia University Texas.
Caleb Kesting finished in third, just six strokes off of first, with a 143.
ETBU shot a 600 with a 295 in round one and a 305 in round two for a 600. They were seven strokes off of the University of St. Thomas Houston's 593 (294-299) and 25 strokes away from the winner in LeTourneau University (286-289=575).
Kesting shot a 70 in round one and was in second place after day one and had a 73 on day two for the 143.
Kade Bazzell and Coleman Bates tied for 12
th. Bazzell had a 74 and then a 75 on day two for the 149. Bates shot a 72 on day one and then posted a 77 on day two for 149.
Drew Marshall was then 45
th (79-82=161) and
Colby Hemenes came in 58
th (88-80=168).
ETBU has one more invite on March 31 and April 1 at Pine Dunes Golf Club hosted by LeTourneau before the ASC Championship Tournament on May 1.
