MARSHALL, Texas – Moving up two spots in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association, East Texas Baptist University is now sixth in the nation. The Tigers earned 20 more points in the week five poll and now have been ranked for 163 weeks.
ETBU is now 21-3 and 2-0 in the American Southwest Conference after going 4-0 last week sweeping both the University of Dallas and Mary Hardin-Baylor. They will host LeTourneau University on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. in a double header.
Teams ETBU have played that are ranked are: no. 2 Trine, no. 9 Berry College, no. 21 Belhaven, no. 23 DePauw, and no. 24 Emory.
