FRANKSTON, Texas – In their final invite before the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament in May, East Texas Baptist University finished sixth at the Goliath Compression Men's Golf Invitational at Pine Dunes. ETBU shot a 911 and was 16 shots off the second place finisher. Caleb Kesting recorded another top five finish coming in third with a 219 in the three-round invite.
 
ETBU shot a 300 in the first round but then added five strokes in round two (305) and a 306 in the final round for a 911. Kesting fired a 219 to tie for third place record his best round of 72 in the first round. He followed with a 73 and then 74 and was one stroke off of second place and seven strokes from the medalist. Coleman Bales was the final top 30 finisher for ETBU in 22^nd with a 229. He started with a 75, shaved a stroke off to 74 in round two and finished with an 80.
 
Colby Hemenes came in 29^th with a 233 (78-77-78) as Kade Bazzell (79-81-75=235) and Drew Marshall (75-81-79=235) tied for 33^rd. Tate Sloan then came in 55^th with a 255 (87-85-83).

ETBU will compete in their final tournament of the year for the American Southwest Conference Championship on May 1-3 at Lake Whitney, Texas,
