MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Headed to Alabama for the Huntingdon Beach Bash, East Texas Baptist University earned a win on day two over host Huntingdon College. ETBU went 1-3 in two days against Huntingdon and NCAA Division I Nicholls State.
 
On Saturday morning, ETBU earned a 4-1 win over Huntingdon. ETBU won flights 2 through 5 four the four wins. Boston Morin and Bella Fields won a three-set match at no. 2, 23-2, 21-15, 15-5, for a point. Katelynn Holloway and Caiden Lasala then took the no. 3 match, 22-20, 21-19, in two sets. At the no. 4 flight, Emily Thomas and Caitlyn Ellenburg won 21-17, 21-10, and KK Domek and Luci Guardia won flight 5, 21-16, 21-18, to take the match.
 
ETBU will be at the Texas A&M Texarkana Tournament March 13-14 next weekend.
