GEORGETOWN, Texas – In their first meet of 2026, the East Texas Baptist University women's track & field team competed in the CenTex Invite on Saturday, March 7, at Southwestern University. Due to inclement weather, only a few events took place before the meet was cancelled.
 
The Tigers recorded a first place finish from Phoebe Dunham in the 3000 meter steeple chase, coming in with a time of 11:57.43. Emily Sitton and  Mallory Frederick managed first place finishes in the high jump event, clearing 1.52 meters. Lillien Stowe (1.47m) and Jayla Johnson rounded out the top 10 with third and sixth place finishes. Skyler Skinner also won the discus with a throw of 
 37.65 meters.
