ABILENE, Texas – Coming away with four Top 10 finishes at the McMurry University Warhawk Invite, East Texas Baptist University competed against 19 programs from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and JUCO. ETBU's 4x100 meter relay team won the event with a time 40.85.
ETBU came in front of UNT Dallas by 0.03 seconds to win the 4x100 meter relay.
Brenton Hardin took the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.54. Muizq Gunnell was fourth in the high jump (6'3.5") while PJ Johnson was ninth (6'1.5"). Conrad Deleon was then sixth in the javelin (145'6") as
Kilrean Brown was ninth in the long jump (21'8").
Kai Bonner came in 10
th in the 110 meter hurdles.
ETBU will travel to Clinton, Miss., on April 24 for the Mississippi College Invite.
