MARSHALL, Texas – For the fourth time this season, East Texas Baptist University's
Monique Ybarra has been named the American Southwest Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week. She has now earned seven career ASC Player of the Week awards.

WOMEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Monique Ybarra, Jr., East Texas Baptist
Monique Ybarra posted a 3-1 overall record while competing at the No. 1 position in both singles and doubles. In a win over Howard Payne, she earned a 6-2, 6-0 singles victory over Victoria Ramos and added a doubles win by forfeit. Against Mary Hardin-Baylor, Ybarra claimed a 6-0, 6-0 singles victory over Jolin Ha, marking ETBU's lone point in the match. Ybarra earns her fourth ASC Women's Tennis Player of the Week honor.
