MARSHALL, Texas – Winning back-to-back American Southwest Conference Weekly Awards, East Texas Baptist University had their third student-athlete be named the Hitter of the Week this season. Jobe Boone won the award for his series against the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and joins
Connor Massimini (Apr. 6) and Reaf Wright (Feb. 17) as ASC weekly award winners.

HITTER OF THE WEEK – Jobee Boone, Gr., 3B, East Texas Baptist
Jobee Boone provided an offensive surge for East Texas Baptist, helping the Tigers to a 4-0 week against Hardin-Simmons. Over four games, Boone hit .526 with 10 hits, scoring five runs and driving in five RBI. In 19 plate appearances, he posted a .684 slugging percentage, drew one walk, and struck out just twice.
