MARSHALL, Texas – Earning her third American Southwest Conference Pitcher of the Week award this year is McKenzie Jones. ETBU has now won eight ASC Pitcher of the Week awards as Jones and Avery Holland have both earned three.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – McKenzie Jones, Jr., P, East Texas Baptist
McKenzie Jones pitched a complete-game, one-hit shutout over 7.0 innings to secure the series win over Mary Hardin-Baylor. She faced 24 batters and held opponents to a .045 batting average while recording five strikeouts. Jones retired the final 12 batters of the game as the Tigers earned a 1-0 victory. This marks her third ASC Pitcher of the Week honor of the 2026 season.
