MARSHALL, Texas – Earning her second American Southwest Conference Hitter of the Week award this season is East Texas Baptist University's Makayla Menchue. She posted three home runs as ETBU went 3-1 against Hardin-Simmons.

HITTER OF THE WEEK – Makayla Menchue, Jr., INF, East Texas Baptist
Makayla Menchue had a standout week for the Tigers, leading them to a 3-1 series win over Hardin-Simmons while batting .500. Menchue recorded four hits, scored four runs, and drove in six RBI, including three home runs. In game one, she hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning to give East Texas Baptist a 3-1 lead, helping secure the win. She carried that momentum into game two with another two-run homer to put the Tigers ahead 3-1 in a 4-1 victory. Menchue also posted an impressive .692 on-base percentage for the week.
