MARSHALL, Texas – A third East Texas Baptist University track and field athlete has been named the American Southwest Conference Track Athlete of the Week in Noah Zarate. It is his first award this season from the ASC as he joins Brenton Hardin and Kilrean Brown as weekly winners.

MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Noah Zarate, So., East Texas Baptist
Noah Zarate competed at North Texas in the 800-meter dash, finishing with a time of 2:02.72. The mark was a personal best as he placed 12th out of 30 runners representing NCAA Divisions I, II, III, and JUCO programs. His time was just five seconds off the top finisher in the event.
