MARSHALL, Texas – Staying steady in the Top 10 of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Poll, East Texas Baptist University remains at No. 6 in the nation. ETBU has been ranked sixth for the past three weeks and has now been in the national poll for 165 consecutive weeks.
ETBU earned 200 points with a 25-3 record after sweeping No. 22 Concordia Texas, 4-3 and 4-1, in Austin. Teams in the top 25 that ETBU faced are No. 2 Trine, No. 9 Belhaven, No. 14 Berry College, and No. 18 Mount Union.
This weekend features a four-game series against Howard Payne in Brownwood, Texas, in the American Southwest Conference.
