SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Finishing up the 2026 season at the Last Chance Meet hosted by Trinity University, East Texas Baptist University had seven top five finishes. Talon Moten (400-meter hurdles) and Kaleb Wollery (pole vault) both finished second.
 
Moten ran 53.66 in the 400-meter hurdles to finish second of six. Wollery then cleared 14'10" in the pole vault for second place. Brenton Hardin was fourth in the 100-meter dash (10.61). Coming in fifth were Aiden McDonald (400-meter dash – 58.76), Muizq Gunnel in the high jump (6'3.25"), and PJ Johnson (high jump – 6'3.25"). The 4x100-meter relay team also came in fifth.
