MARSHALL, Texas – After hosting the NCAA DIII, Marshall, Texas Regional, East Texas Baptist University secured six student-athletes on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) 2026 Division III All-Region Team. Avery Holland (1^st team), Makayla Menchue (2^nd team), Emma Boren (2^nd team), McKenzie Jones (3^rd team), Ryan Stratman (3^rd team), and Ava Rodriquez (3^rd team) were named to All-Region teams.
 
Holland, a junior from Fredericksburg, Texas, is now a two-time NFCA All-Region First-Team selection. She earned her 19^th win of the year on May 15^th in the NCAA Tournament and has 90 strikeouts on the year with a 1.26 ERA in 123 innings pitched. She is the 2026 ASC Pitcher of the Year and All-ASC First Team for the third team.

Menchue and Boren have earned NFCA All-Region Second Team for the first time.

Menchue, the 2026 ASC MVP, earns her first All-Region honor for her play at first base. The junior from Hallsville, Texas, tallied 340 putouts on the season with a .997 fielding percentage. She led the team with seven home runs and added 35 RBI with 39 hits and a .328 batting average.
 
Boren completed a standout freshman season at shortstop with another postseason award. The Forney, Texas native hit .331 on the year with 40 hits, four doubles, and 20 RBI. She only struck out seven times in 121 at-bats and walked 18.

 Jones, Stratman, and Rodriguez were named to the NFCA All-Region Third Team.

Jones (Jr., Crawford, Texas) earned her first NFCA All-Region selection as a pitcher. She threw a five-inning shutout run-rule victory against Denison in the NCAA Tournament opener. This year, she is 12-1 with a 1.66 ERA, seven shutouts, and 72 strikeouts in 92.2 innings pitched.

Stratman earned her first NFCA honor as an outfielder. The freshman from Fulshear, Texas, led the team with 58 hits and batting average (.475) posting four doubles and 20 RBI. She was also a perfect 30-of-30 on stolen bases.

Rodriquez picked up her first NFCA honor as the Designated Player. The junior from Boerne, Texas, was second on the team with 48 hits, adding a .366 batting average, four home runs, and 37 RBI.
