MARSHALL, Texas – Ending the season in the NCAA Division III National Championship Meet, East Texas Baptist University earned several postseason awards for the men's track and field program. Four student-athletes earned All-American status with six total being named All-Region.
Carsyn Bynum,
Brenton Hardin, Michael Latham, and
Joe Stroman were named USTFCCCA All-American Second Team for their 12
th place finish at the national meet in the 4x100 meter relay. They ran a 40.99 for 12
th place to out of 16 programs for their All-American award. They were 0.25 of a second off of the top eight. It is the second time in three years ETBU has earned All-American status for the 4x100 meter relay gaining the award in 2024.
Earning All-Region, along with Bynum, Hardin, Latham, and Stroman, were Muizq Gunnel and
Talon Moten. Hardin was also All-Region for the 100 meter dash. Gunnel was for the high jump and Moten for the 400 meter hurdles.
