Mallory Pyle (Hallsville, Texas) has earned a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Rawlings Gold Glove Award for her play at third base. Pyle becomes ETBU's second player to earn the award following
Tristen Maddox in 2023.
This is Pyle's third award of the year as she was an All-ASC First Team selection and on the NCAA Division III Marshall, Texas All-Regional Team. She is one of nine players to be given a 2026 Gold Glove in NCAA Division III and is the top third baseman. For the season, she a .936 fielding percentage on the hot corner with 36 putouts and 77 assists.
Pyle helped ETBU to 39 wins, another ASC Championship, and to the NCAA Division III Marshall, Texas Regional Championship game. In her career, she went to four NCAA Tournaments, won three ASC Championships, and one Super Regional and National Championship.
