In the NCAA Tournament, they are 6-1 with their only loss to No. 2 Lynchburg in game two of the Super Regionals. Keep the "Flannel"ery On in Cleveland
Justin Flannery continues to have a magical post season going 3-of-4 with one RBI in the upset win over Denison. He is now 12-of-27 (.445) with 15 RBI, one double, and five home runs. His best game came against Rhodes College with eight RBI and two home runs going 3-of-4 in the second round. He also hit two home runs vs. Concordia Texas in the Regional Championship posting three RBI and then had a three-run home run to put ETBU on top of No. 2 Lynchburg, 5-2.

Don't Mess with "THOR"nton
Denison University has scored 71 runs in the post season with the NCAC Tournament included. In the NCAA Tournament, the Big Red had recorded 39 runs in five games averaging almost eight runs per game. In 7.2 innings pitched,
Isaac Thornton held the Big Red to one run and struck out seven batters for his 10
th win of the year. It was the first time for Denison since Feb. 27 to strikeout seven times against the same pitcher. It last happened against Baldwin Wallace to Walker in four innings of work. BW lost the game, 8-0. Thornton has now his last three postseason starts with two complete game wins over Concordia Texas and No. 2 Lynchburg and has 22 strikeouts.

The Buckeye State Teams
ETBU is now 3-1 against teams in Ohio with the 5-1 win over No. 1 Denison. ETBU played Wooster twice this year in Marshall, Texas, losing the first game 3-0 but took the second game, 6-5. The last time ETBU faced Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2001 in the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association National Tournament winning 4-2.

ETBU boasts a 4.14 ERA in seven NCAA Tournament games this year with 29 earned runs. They have recorded 48 strikeouts with two saves as teams bat .237 against them.
Aiden Leonard has the lowest ERA in relief at 1.42 in two appearances, 6.1 IP, and five strikeouts.
Conner Smeltzer is 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA in 8.2 IP with nine strikeouts.
