ETBU graduate student,
Halee Johnson, provided recap #1 from ETBU Golf's TAME trip to Northern Ireland.
"Today, we began the day with a church service at Lagan Valley Vineyard. We enjoyed fellowship and getting the opportunity to see the community. The church was welcoming and it was really cool to see how similar it is to the church I normally attend at home.
After church, we went to eat at St. George's Market. We spent the rest of the afternoon shopping and seeing tourist sites that emphasized the enriched culture of Northern Ireland and throughout the City of Belfast. We finished the afternoon with a Prayer Service at St. Anne's Cathedral of Belfast. The reverence and respect was appreciated by our group, while getting the opportunity to see a different kind of service than what we are used to.
The day was concluded by eating dinner and participating in some training before we head into the schools tomorrow to teach golf and have Gospel conversations, which we are very much looking forward."
