SALLISAW, Okla. – Finishing up the 2026 collegiate season on the Strike King Bassmaster College Series at the Kerr Reservoir, East Texas Baptist University had a top 50 finish out of 189 boats. Trey McMeen III and Dylan Armstrong came in 47^th.
 
Battling a cold front that came in the night before the tournament, McMeen III and Armstong finished with five fish for 25 pounds and seven ounces. Noah Parrish and Braydon Kelley had the second-best catch for ETBU, coming in 111^th with 16 pounds and 11 ounces.
 
Mcmeen and Armstrong have one more tournament as they qualified earlier this year for the 2026 Bassmasters National Championship Tournament in August on Leech Lake.
