MARSHALL, Texas – Earning 2026 American Southwest Conference men's golf awards for East Texas Baptist University are
Caleb Kesting and
Coleman Bales. Only 10 ASC golfers were chosen for the First and Second Teams, with Kesting on the First Team and Bales on the Second Team.
Kesting made the All-ASC First Team, joining four Mary Hardin-Baylor golfers. He posted two Top 3 finishes this spring in back-to-back tournaments at the Linda Lowery Invite and the Goliath Compression Invite. He averaged 75.6 per round he played, with his best invite at Linda Lowery, shooting a one-under 143 with rounds of 70 and 73.
Bales was voted onto the All-ASC Second Team with three other HSU golfers and one UMHB golfer. He averaged 75.0 per round, with his best finish of 12th at the Linda Lowery Invite and a best round of 72. This is his second ASC award of the year as he was the Golfer of the Week on October 30 for his finish at the Dallas Baptist University Classic.
