TYLER, Texas – Headed west an hour for their first meet of the year, East Texas Baptist University finished fifth of seven teams at the University of Texas Tyler. Three runners were in the top 55 as Chance Stewart was the top runner.
 
Stewart came in 49^th place at 29:59.1 as Aaron Velazquez was 51^st (30:20.2) and Jagger Stutchman finished in 55^th (30:37.6). Five runners were in the 60s while with one in the 70s and 80s each.
 
ETBU will run at Rhodes College on September 19.
