Connor Anderson

Connor Anderson begins his third season in 2026 as an assistant on head coach Jared Hood’s staff and adds coaching experience from NCAA Division II and junior college. He came to ETBU after three years at NE Texas Community College where they won 52 games in three seasons.

His coaching skills helped ETBU finish second in the ASC in batting for the 2025 season at .325 with a .544 slugging percentage. ETBU led the ASC in fielding percentage at .975. as Luke Bumpas was second in batting with a .418 percentage and hits (65).. Bumpas was also third in slugging percentage (.727) as Ben Lea was fourth (.702), Hunter Rumachik seventh (.620), and Connor Massimini in eighth (.617). Dylan Burnaman led the ASC in sacrifice bunts (9) and Luke Finn in walks (43).

In his first season as an assistant in 2024, ETBU lead the ASC in batting (.318) and fielding (.975). Nicholas Chavez finsihed fifth in the ASC in slugging percentage (.615) and Brett Wagner was ninth (.590). ETBU had four players in the top five for runs scored as Jacob Evangelista was second (51), Burnaman third (50), Massimini fourth (47), and Wagner in fifth (44). Burnaman also was second in the ASC in hits (68) as Evangelista came in fourth (67), Massimini sixth (62), and Wagner seventh (62). Wagner then led the ASC in RBI (54) and Evangelista in doubles (20).
 
Anderson’s coaching stints include TCS Post Grad Academy in McKinney, Texas, and Southwestern Oklahoma State where he began his career upon graduation. He started his playing career at Arkansas Baptist College playing in the infield before finishing at Southwestern Oklahoma State. At SW Oklahoma State, he played the 2016 and 2017 seasons recording a .275 batting average with 10 RBI and 22 stolen bases. The 2016 season brought 34 wins and an appearance in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
 
He graduated in 2017 from Southwestern Oklahoma State.
