Entering his first season on Brian Mayper’s staff, Greg Brassfield will serve as the running backs coach. Brassfield played two years at Mississippi College (NCAA Division II) and one year at Itawamba Community College (NJCAA). 
 
A native of Brandon, Miss., Brassfield played for Brandon High School along with current Jacksonville Jaguars' quarterback Gardner Minshew. He was a three-year starter at defensive back and running back helping his team to a state championship and multiple playoff appearances. Voted Most Versatile Player in 2013 & 2014 on his team, he received a scholarship to play football at Mississippi College. After two years at MC, he transferred to Itawamba Community College where his career came to an end due to a major injury. He then transferred back to Mississippi College finishing his undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. 
 
Brassfield will be working on his Master’s Degree at ETBU and is the son of Greg & Melinda Brassfield and brother to Hannah Brassfield.
