Marcus Monaco eneters his third season at ETBU in 2022 under Brian Mayper and will coach the tight ends while being the special teams coordinator.The former offensive lineman at the University of Montana-Western came  to ETBU after one year in the SEC at Arkansas.

The 2022 season brought an All-American to his coaching rank as Jordan Estes was named to the AFCA First-Team as a long snapper. In spring 2021, Monaco coached All-ASC honorable mention tight end Dylan Adams. He averaged 4.6 yards per catch at the tight end position. He also coached All-ASC second team kicker selection Alberto Garcia.
 
Monaco spent the 2019 season on the Arkansas Razorbacks staff as an assistant with the special teams. He helped increase production in all areas of special teams making significant national improvements in the punt, punt return, and kickoff units. He also had the privilege to work with Lou Groza Award Semi-Finalist Kicker Connor Limpert and the All-SEC third-team long snapper.
 
He spent the 2018 season at Navarro College coaching the offensive line, tight ends, and special teams. Navarro had the #1 passing team in NJCAA that season and played in the Salt City Bowl game.
 
Monaco played at the University of Montana – Western and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health and Human Performance in 2018. He also earned a Master’s of Education in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership from the University of Washington in 2019. He is the son of John and Teresa Monaco and has two younger brothers, Michael and Mitchell.
