Terray Green

Terray Green starts his first year as a graduate assistant for the East Texas Baptist University football team. He joins ETBU after spending the fall semester at Hocking College.

Green played high school football at John Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas, where he was a two-time First Team All-District defensive back along with being both the team and district defensive MVP. He also finished third in the state powerlifting championships.

Taking his talents to Bacone College (Okla.) to play college football, he became a four-time all-conference player and all-academic team member. Selected by his teammates as team captain and a senior leader, he would be honored by his coaches as the recipient of the Warrior Award.

Green remained with Bacone as an assistant running backs coach from 2015-2017 coaching two All-American and All-Conference running backs. After a season at Arkansas Baptist College, Green joined Navarro College as an assistant linebacker’s and nickels coach. At NC, he coached several all-Southwest Junior College Football Conference players, including Abraham Beauplan, who led the nation in solo tackles, Mason Kinsey, and Tray Bishop, who finished third in interceptions and second in pick-sixes. Previously, Green was an assistant corner backs and free safeties coach at Hocking College.

Green graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
