Simien enters his second year (2024) as a coach for men's soccer. It will be his first as an assistant coach after finishing his graduate degree. The former ETBU men's soccer player was a four-year letterman from San Antonio, Texas, that played in 51 matches. 

The two-time All-ASC player helped ETBU to two ASC Tournaments in 2019 and spring 2021. He was a two-time All-ASC second team selection in 2019 and fall 2021 along with being the ASC Player of the Week, once. He collected 18 career goals, five assists, and 41 points with 136 shots. He posted nine goals, three assists, and 21 points. In his junior season, hea added seven goals for 14 points. 

He graduated from ETBU in May 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in 2024.
