Carron Prude

Prude is entering his first year on Natalie Bach-Prather’s staff coaching track and field. He comes to ETBU after a stellar career at Belhaven University.
 
A two-sport student-athlete at Belhaven, Prude won the 2019 American Southwest Conference championship in the hammer throw and was named All-ASC. He made the ASC All-Academic team for track and field and football. He was also a full back on the Belhaven football team.
 
Prior to Belhaven, he was a CCCAA (California Community College Athletic Association) honorable mention selection in 2017 for shot put. He also won the California High School Western League championship in shot up in 2014.
 
This past year, he was a volunteer coach in Los Angeles, Calif., coaching two high school throwers. The boy’s varsity team he was helping coach placed first in the 2019 Los Angeles City Championship with a throw of 45’9.5”. The female he coached placed second in the Los Angeles City Championships with a 34’11” throw.
 
He graduated from Belhaven University May 2020 with a bachelor’s of science degree in sports management. He is currently working on his Masters of Business Administration at ETBU.
