Arbogast's second season as a head coach brought a 13-5 conference record, an ASC Tournament berth (host), and an NCAA Division III National Tournament berth. In the first round of the national tournament, the Tigers knocked off nationally ranked #19 Rhodes College. They concluded their season in the Round of 32 and an overall record of 21-6.

In his first season as the head coach of the Tigers (2020-2021), the team completed an undefeated regular season, 24-0, and made a trip to the ASC Tournament Championship game. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NCAA Division III National Tournament was canceled. The Tigers finished the season ranked second in the national poll.

As an assistant coach at ETBU (2019-20), the team won 20 games and went 13-3 in the ASC East Division. ETBU was regionally ranked and had the top defense in the ASC only allowing 55 points per game and .329 shooting percentage from the field along with the top shooting percentage (.425), rebounding defense (32.7), and rebounding margin (+10.6).

He came to ETBU after coaching two years at the University of the Ozarks in the men’s basketball program. In those two years, UO improved their win total by five and had three players named All-ASC. He played four years of basketball at Howard Payne University and was a graduate assistant for one season before moving onto Holiday High School.

Arbogast graduated in 2015 from HPU with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science and later completed a Master of Education in Sports Administration from Midwestern State University in 2018.  He and his wife, Shelby, have two sons, Foster, who was born in June 2020, and Nash, who was born in August 2021.
