Kailey Cavanaugh

Kailey Cavanaugh is entering her second year as the assistant coach on Darby Graff's staff. The former ETBU volleyball player brings NCAA Division III playing experience.

Cavanaugh was a member of the ETBU’s women’s basketball coaching staff in the 2018-19 season as a graduate assistant. She helped with practices and travel plans while working on her master’s degree. The women’s basketball team finished with 23 wins and were nationally ranked during the season. As a student athletic trainer her senior year (2017-18), she assisted the women’s basketball team through their historic season and to the Elite 8.

Playing two years (2014-15) until an injury sidelined her, Cavanaugh participated in 44 matches compiling 207 kills and 50 blocks. She had a career high 11 kills vs. Centenary her freshman year (2014) and five blocks vs. Hardin-Simmons. In those two seasons, ETBU went 38-19 and was the #2 seed from the ASC East Division. In 2014, ETBU had a program best 14-match winning streak and were undefeated at home.

Graduating in May 2018 with a degree in Kinesiology Wellness Management, she finished her master’s degree in Kinesiology at ETBU in May 2020.
