Lindsey Shaw

Lindsey Shaw enters her fourth year under head coach Blake Arbogast as the top assistant coach. The former NCAA Division II women’s basketball player came to ETBU from the state of Colorado.

Last season, she assisted in leading the Tigers to another 20 win season. This season brought another berth to the ASC Tournament and a trip to the Championship game, where the Tigers fell just short of the championship.  

In her second year as the top assistant, 2021-2022, the Tigers finished with a conference record of 15-3 and earned the right to host the ASC Tournament. In that same year, Coach Shaw helped the Tigers to an NCAA Tournament Round of 64 win against nationally ranked #19 Rhodes College. ETBU finished the season in the Round of 32 and Receiving Notes in the WBCA national poll. 

In her first year as an assistant coach in 2020-21, she assisted in leading an undefeated regular season which included the ASC East Division Championship. ETBU finished ranked second in the nation for NCAA Division III.
 
For seven years she was the assistant coach and head junior varsity coach at Fruita Monument High School (CO). In that time she assisted in leading state qualifying teams including five Sweet 16 and two Elite Eight appearances at the Colorado 5A level. She also served as the Western Slope Area Director and was a member of the coaching staff of the Colorado Premier Basketball Club for four years.
 
Collegiately, she played at NCAA Division II Colorado Mesa University for four years and was a part of the 2012-13 team that won the RMAC Championship and advanced to the Elite 8. During her time at Colorado Mesa, she was on the President’s and Dean’s Honor Roll, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Honor Roll, and helped with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
 
Graduating Cum Laude in 2015 from Colorado Mesa University, she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology in both K-12 Physical Education and Exercise Science. She later graduated with a Master's Degree in Education - Sports Leadership from ETBU in December 2021.
