 Entering her first season as a part of the women's basketball coaching staff, former student-athlete Michaela James will be the graduate assistant coach for the 2024-25 season.

James transitions from a player to a coach as the graduate assistant for Arbogast. She played two seasons for ETBU, collecting three ASC awards as the Player of the Week, being on the ASC All-Tournament team, and being an All-ASC honorable mention. This past season was her finest, averaging 8.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. She led the team with 32 made three-pointers and in rebounding. In her first season, in 2022-23, ETBU went 20-7 playing for the ASC Tournament Championship. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in May 2024.
