USC 30 Under 30 Coach (2019)
ASC Spring Coach of the Year (2021 | Spring)
Kristin Cox, who was the 2021 Spring ASC Coach of the Year, enters her fifth season as the head coach of the women's soccer team after three seasons as the assistant. She played four years at Lubbock Christian University where she was All-Conference second-team in 2014. Cox, formerly Fellows, married ETBU head men's soccer coach Chad Cox on December 28, 2018, and was named one of the top young women's head coaches on the 30 Under 30 list in 2019. She is one of only 15 female coaches in the United States to receive the award out of 300 applicants.

- Advanced in ASC Tournament for first time in over 10 years

- Raegan Kappler won ASC Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year

- Won first collegiate game as head coach on Sept. 1 vs. Schreiner University, 2-1, in overtime
- Went 3-2 in five overtime matches
- Posted five shutouts
- 15 players were named ASC All-Academic
- 2 players named USC Regional Scholar Award winners
- 3 players earned USC Player of Distinction Awards
- 6 players earned ASC awards
About Coach Cox
- Graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 2015 with a B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance
- Earned a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Lubbock Christian University in 2016
- Earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from East Texas Baptist University in 2018
- Played for Athletes in Action in summer 2015 in Canada
- Played for Athletes in Action in summer 2016 in France and was coached by former ETBU head coach Erik Solberg
- Volunteered as a summer coach for LCU soccer camps
- Served globally in missions in Costa Rica and Guatemala and studied abroad in England, Spain, and Ghana
- Head coach for the North Texas Olympic Development Program 07 girls
- USSF Certified C License
- USC Certified Goalkeeping I and II License
- Married to ETBU head men's soccer coach Chad Cox
- They have two sons

- Four-year letterman at Lubbock Christian University
- Played soccer and volleyball at Lubbock Christian University

- Second-Team All-Conference in 2014
