A native of Hallsville, Texas, Melton’s athletic career is marked by numerous honors, including being a 2024 NCAA Division III National Champion and a two-time NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete Award recipient. Prior to her career at ETBU, Melton spent two years playing softball at the University of Texas at Tyler, where she was a two-time Lone Star Conference Champion in 2022 and 2023.
