MARSHALL, Texas – As excitement builds for the East Texas Baptist University bass fishing team, the new Skeeter Performance Boat was unveiled with the Tiger Bass look for the 2016-17 season. ETBU is the first college to be sponsored by Skeeter Boats who are the #1 Bass Performance Boat in the nation.

On Friday afternoon, ETBU president Dr. J. Blair Blackburn and new bass fishing coach Cameron Burger unveiled the new look boat. The boat is in ETBU colors based in blue. It is trimmed with a yellow and white stripe and branded with ETBU and the tiger shield on both sides. Underneath the ETBU are tiger stripes to represent the Tigers. The verse Mark 1:17 “Come follow me and I may make you fishers of men” is labeled at the front of the boat. The also features two Texas stars in front of the seating area.

ETBU will start their first season with a bass fishing team in August 2016.
