ABILENE, Texas – Continuing to show their strong presence in the American Southwest Conference, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team competed in the ASC individual tournament where they won six individual championships. Overall, ETBU had their best showing in the ASC Fall Individual Tournament in program history.

Four members won their respected singles tournaments led by Kate Bramlett (Flight 1) who defeated Haley Hicks (UMHB) 6-1, 6-1, Michaela Ellison (HSU) 6-2, 6-4, and Lauren Stanley (SCH) 6-2, 6-1. Tiffany Stankiewicz (Flight 2) defeated Katie Watts (SCH) 6-0, 6-0, Bree Brosig (McM) 6-1, 6-2, and Shayne Cook (HSU) 6-3, 2-6, 10-5 while Mullika Seekhieo (Flight 4) had wins of 6-2, 6-0 against Breanna Hunt (HPU), 6-1, 6-3 against Rhiannon Wright (UMHB), and Camila Anguiano (SCH). In flight 6, Elisa Kendall defeated Kirsten Endicott (Ozarks) 6-0, 6-0, Briana Perez (MCM) 6-2, 6-0, and Jazmine Briant (HSU) 7-5, 5-7, 10-5.

Elsewhere, Kelli Cawthon, Jabree McClaine and Ashley Schneck had third place finishes while Cecilia Hernandez came away with fourth place.

In doubles play, The pairs of Bramlett/Schneck (flight 1), and Cawthon/Stankiewicz (flight 2) came away with three wins each to win their respected flights. Seekhieo/Hernandez finished second in flight four doubles with two wins before dropping the finals while McClaine/Kendall came in third place.
