The festivities started with a pregrame ceremony honoring the seniors of Trina Deyo, Katy Hill, Kaitlyn Hollingshead, Lacey Lindsey, Jayme Perez, and Lindsey Vasquez for their outstanding careers at ETBU. After a scoreless first inning, ETBU got on the board when Gabby Gonzales would hit a two-run homer putting the Tigers up 2-0. One inning later, ETBU got contributions from the seniors as Perez started the rally with an RBI single. Following a Lindsey homer to make it 4-0, Deyo picked up an RBI triple with Hollingshead picking her up on a single and ETBU led 6-0 after three.
With two on in the bottom of the fourth inning, Perez made the most of her final at bat at Taylor Field with a three-run homer to give the Tigers a 9-0 lead. Not wanting to be outdone, Lindsey drilled her second homer of the game in what would be her final at-bat of Taylor Field as well. ETBU would then secure the last three outs in the fifth to win 10-0 in a short five innings.
Offensively, Linzie Lewis, Perez, Lindsey (two RBI), and Gonzales (two RBI) had two hits with Perez leading the team with four RBI. For the second straight game, Jordan Anderson pitched a complete game one-hit shutout. Braleigh Middleton got the only hit for HSU while Genia Jones took the loss going 2.2 IP allowing six runs on seven hits.
