PINEVILLE, La. – Starting off American Southwest Conference East Division play on the road, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team blanked Louisiana College, 9-0. ETBU allowed only just three sets won in the entire match.

ETBU started off in doubles with a 3-0 lead. Tess Willis and Elisa Kendall took Annette Londono/Emma Hixson, 8-0. Ashley Schenck and Kaleigh Smith won number two doubles, 8-1, and then Jabree McClaine and Mullika Seekhieo shutout Keonna Johnson and Jonkia Walton, 8-0.

In singles play, Willis won number one singles, 6-1, 6-0, over Walton. Kendall then won the number two singles, 6-0, 6-1, over Hixson.  Smith, Seekhieo, McClaine, and Schenck then won number three through number six singles 6-0, 6-0.

ETBU will face Cal Tech and Trinity University on March 24 in San Antonio, Texas, next Saturday.
