On our fourth day in Jamaica we went to the Children's Home in Kingston, a privately funded orphanage for children. When we pulled up we were so excited to hangout and play with the children and spread the word of God. Among the many toddlers, the ages ranged from one to twenty-five. We were blessed to be able to have the capabilities as athletes to relate to the older children at the orphanage through sports and with the younger ones through compassion. At the end of the day at the orphanage, we gathered around and talked about our struggles and how good the Lord is!

Later in the day we ventured further into Kingston and played our first game at the University of West Indies against some very good Jamaican Olympic and National Team players. We were so blessed to play girls from another country that we could relate too on and off the court. At halftime of our game we brought the team together in the middle of the court and told the crowd about the word of God and what He does for us. We all gathered together to pray and show them that God is so much more important than our ability to play basketball. The game ended 41-39 in the favor of ETBU; however, at the end of the day the score wasn't as important as the fact we were able to spread the word of God.Â
