RICHARDSON, Texas – Facing the 10^th ranked team in the West Region, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team came up short against the University of Texas Dallas, 8-1. ETBU is now 3-1 on the year.

UTD started off with a 3-0 lead in doubles play. Mullika Seekhieo and Tess Willis had the closest match at number three falling, 8-5.

Kaleigh Smith scored ETBU's lone point at number four singles with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Sindhu Ravula.

ETBU will be back in action on Friday and Saturday Feb. 22 and 23 in San Antonio, Texas, as they face #21 Trinity University and #13 Washington University-St. Louis.
