SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Taking on #21 Trinity University, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team fell 9-0. ETBU is currently 3-2 on the season at this point.
 
In doubles at number one (Elisa Kendall/Tiffany Stankiewicz) and number two (Kaleigh Smith/Olivia Parmelly), ETBU would have two close matches before falling at 8-3 in each. ETBU lost 8-1 at number three doubles. In the singles matches, only Smith (No. 4) won her first set, 6-3, before falling, 0-6, and 4-10 in the tiebreaker. Parmelly (No. 6) then also lost in a tiebreaker, 6-1, 1-6, 1-10. Kendall (No. 1; 6-4, 6-3) would have two close sets in her match. 
 
ETBU will look to bounce back tomorrow with a 1:00 PM match against #13 Washington University in St. Louis.
