PREVIEW | @ETBU_MBSK Battles LETU Twice This Week

MARSHALL, Texas – Winners of their last eight straight games, the East Texas Baptist University men's basketball team will face off twice this week against the LeTourneau University in American Southwest Conference East Division play. ETBU (8-0) is currently two games ahead of LETU (6-2) in the standings and is 15-2 overall.

  • 15-2 overall and 8-0 in the ASC East following two wins over Louisiana College and Belhaven University

  • Defeated LC, 84-81, in Pineville, La. Chris Haynes tied a career high with 25 points. Robby Dooley posted 19 points while Landin Brown (12 points) and Jarrell Taylor (10 points) also had double-figures.
  • Defeated BU, 84-83, in Jackson, Miss. Dooley posted his 12th career double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Jordan Gray tallied 17 points while Haynes and Westin Riddick each scored 12 points.
