MARSHALL, Texas – Coming off a difficult week in the American Southwest Conference East Division, the East Texas Baptist University men's basketball team seeks to bounce back as take to the road facing the University of the Ozarks and the University of Texas Dallas. ETBU is now 15-4 and 8-2 in the East Division and is currently in a three-way tie for first place with LeTourneau University and UTD.

- On Saturday, ETBU lost, 81-71, to LETU at home. Dooley (18 points, 15 rebounds), Haynes (16 points), Landin Brown (15 points), and Jordan Gray (11 points) all scored in double-figures
- Defeated UO, 74-58, on Jan. 11. Required a 22-0 run in the second half to pull away. Dooley led ETBU with 23 points while Haynes tallied 19 points
- Defeated UTD, 83-74, on Jan. 9. Haynes (13 points), Colton Collins (12 points), Dooley (12 points), Jarrell Taylor (11 points), and Nathan Fontenot (10 points) all tallied double-figures scoring
- The win over UTD ended a seven-game losing streak to the Comets.
- Second in the ASC in scoring (85.6 ppg) and three-point percentage (37.2%)
