MS | UTD's Offense Too Much to Keep Up With as ETBU Falls at Cornish Field

MARSHALL, Texas – Rounding out the weekend facing the University of Texas Dallas at Cornish Field, the East Texas Baptist University men's soccer team couldn't keep up with the Comet offense falling, 4-0. ETBU is now 2-9-2 and 1-5-1 in the American Southwest Conference.
 
ETBU had one shot in the match from Justus Crow. Gunner Barry started the match playing in 71 minutes recording six saves with four goals against. Anthony Lozada finished the final 19 minutes grabbing three saves. UTD took 26 shots with 13 on goal.
 
UTD took a 2-0 lead in the first half scoring goals in the fifth and 34th minutes. They then added two more goals in the second half at the 53rd mark and the 63rd mark.
 
ETBU will be on the road next weekend traveling to Brownwood, Texas, on Thursday to face Howard Payne University at 3:30 p.m.
