HOUSTON, Texas - In their final event of the fall season, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team took part in the yearly ITA Southwest Regional Championships. ETBU had two members pick up a few singles match wins in the winner's bracket.

The two players who went undefeated were Faith Kirk and Kelsey Roberts. Kirk pulled a tough 7-5, 6-4 win over Stefanie Madamba of Schreiner University before adding a 6-2, 6-2 win over Mary Hardin-Baylor's Abigail Oakley. Roberts was successful in wins over Brianne Dumas (Hardin-Simmons; 6-2, 6-4) and Kaylin Parker (McMurry; 6-3, 6-3). Despite losing her first round match to Andrea Smith (McM; 6-3, 6-3), Kylee Mixon would advance one round in the consolation bracket beating Regina Lopez.
